Advanced Geometry – my show at San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles

Here is the postcard for my first solo show. I’m very happy with it. If anyone is in the San Jose area between April and June 8th, I hope you’ll stop by. This show is one of a couple going on at the Museum and is in conjunction with San Jose’s ZERO 1 festival, described as a “global festival of art on the edge,” and a “biennial exhibition of compelling experiences made possible at the intersection of art and digital culture.

The above graphic is from their website (you need to scroll over one of the three small icons under the main show window.  More information about the show is here.

just happen to be in San Jose this weekend and saw your quilts at the museum. I was very taken with the one featured at the top of this post. very nice! of course you can’t really appreciate them completely on the web, the stitching adds so much. i’m not a quilter- more a practitioner of shibori. also a nikon novice.
