Great pictures, Gloria! I’m sending your blog link to my granddaughter Christy Ginn, recently graduated from Texas A&M who is involved in a non-profit called Urban Interface, which rescues raptors. They consult with the vet school at A&M and she often has a hawk or owl in foster care at her apartment. Her love of animals started very early.
While I’m writing, let me mention a book I just finished/enjoyed, “H Is for Hawk,” about a woman who trained a goshawk as she worked through her grief over her dad’s death.
