Hi Gloria, I just want to start out telling you how amazing your work is. I can’t believe you paint all those pieces that go in to those quilts!!!! That’s amazing!! I can tell you put a lot of hard work in to those.
I’m writing you because I saw on an ODC email for the best of 2016 that you gave pointers on sizing an image so I thought I’d ask your advise. I’m a jeweler and I was thinking of entering this year but, as you may know, jewelry is kind of a tricky medium to get good pictures of. I have a friend that told me to get a 100mm Macro lens but at the time I am unable to afford that so……..? I was wondering if you might have any pointers on taking pics of rings and such? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
