Digital Paintings
This is a digital painting I did based on my Refracted Lily quilt. I then did a watercolor painting with Intense pencils based on this digital painting which was based on my quilt and the quilt based on a photograph. I messed up the pencils, which I tossed in the garbage, only to later take it out of the garbage and realize it wasn’t that bad. It seems I do that with most things – toss it in the garbage and take it out again. Round and round it goes.

This is based on one of my photographs. I enjoy painting with pixels, but I also like painting with paint, but it’s so much easier to to play with pixels.

For some of us it is easier to paint than play with pixels!

What amazing colours, and so full of energy! I have no idea how to paint with pixels, and am only just becoming brave enough to paint with watercolour and pencils again.. and fabric, of course!

Interesting to me who does not paint or pixels rendering the quilt in different mediums….. I do do quilts!
