AQS Calendar

I received a package from the American Quilter’s Society today.  Wow — cool surprise!  My quilt, Blushing Triangles 3, which won the Best Wall Quilt award at this year’s show, is the 2009 March pinup!

A couple years back, I did have a quilt in their weekly calendar.  I sent the quilt to them to photograph, and I was surprised out dark it was (I am a fuss pot).  I am very pleased with this calendar.  Wow!

WOW – so well deserved, Gloria. You are an inspiration to us all. I normally buy the Quilting Arts Magazine calender, but this year I just have to find use for two calenders…….

Am at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham (England) just now, and was hoping to buy your new book, but understand from other (excited) people that we have to do so from the publisher (on-line). Shame, you are well know here – but not everybody knows how to buy on-line, but I do, so my order will be in shortly.

It’s in the American Quilters Society calendar. Not Quilting Arts (that’s a real beauty of a calendar).

I’m bringing brochures to Festival of Quilts — I’m planning to be there one day (I’m leaving for England today). If you know of any places to give brochures, let me know!

    Thanks again!

I know it is not the Quilting Arts Calender, that’s why I have to buy two this year ;O) The Quilting Arts and the American Quilters Society (the one you are in).

Gosh, I only just reread your comment that you will be coming. Hope I’m not to late, and that someone will read this and will pass on this to you.

I shall be at the “Contemporary Quilt Group” stand from 10-11 Sunday morning – at the entrance go left of the Quilters Guild Stand just behind it. Anyway, they or the Guild can put you in touch with me.
