For the journal above, I’ve inkjet printed directly onto some of the watercolor papers that I dyed.  You’ll notice the same print has a different look depending on the color paper under it.

None of the paper were pretreated with anything.  I also added painted and distressed thin poly spun (Lutrador)  to some of the signatures in the journal.  And, I made a single signature journal using watercolor paper as the cover and thinner dyed paper for the interior.  That one is now in my handbag for taking notes (although it won’t replace my regular notebook, at least not yet).

I’m eventually going to make another with a butterfly theme, maybe going larger.  We’ll see!
