Yosemite – Glacier Point plus
This is probably one of my favorite shots of Half Dome taken from Glacier Point Road. I took it during a magical evening when the lighting was very beautiful using the 18-200mm, which is a great lens.

And yet another evening. Every evening, a new look. Taking photos there is something I could do on a regular basis if I lived in the area.

You have some excellent shots here. Well done!
I’m visiting Yosemite this summer; I hope to get a few pics taken. I was wondering whether it’s dangerous to take photos at sunset/after due to the wild animals etc. Did you walk to these spots or drive?

Thanks. :) I didn’t find it dangerous taking pictures after sunset. We drove, but after getting there then walked around or hiked. It’s a massive park. Our resort was at the south entrance to the park, and it was about 36 miles from there to the central area of the park where Yosemite Falls is located. In the central area of the park, there is green bus service, which we also used.
