Mom and my UK adventure – pt 3 – Warwick Castle

Warwick Castle
Mom is big on castles, and one goal was to take her to many. Warwick Castle was first on the list (well, Bridgnorth doesn’t really count as there wasn’t much left to it). Warwick is considered Britain’s “Ultimate Castle,” although I’m not sure if I agree with that assessment. It dates back some 1,100 years, and it’s amazing to think that it’s now a tourist attraction. Derry and I came here in the past, so it was more fun taking mom as we knew just what she’d like to see.

We did go into the dungeon, which was very dark and not something I’ve visited in the past. I’m not keen on dungeons. After visiting this one, I doubt mom will be visiting any in the future. It’s not a Disney experience.
Mom did climb the winding, narrow stairs to get on one of the towers.
Mom made it to the top where we could relax and enjoy the views.

From other directions, the skies were clear.
I cannot resist taking pictures of windows, arches, stairs, and the like. I've taken hundreds during this trip.
By the time we left, we experience some sunshine, some rain, and some dramatic skies.
