The artist, Hong Yi, who was nicknamed <em>Red<\/em> by one of her friends, created an amazing portrait using coffee cup stains. She states in part of her description, &#8220;<em>The portrait was done using coffee cup stains. Quite a tricky medium to use &#8211; too much water and the rings wouldn&#8217;t form easily, very little water and you&#8217;d have to be precise with where you place the cup coz the rings would pretty much be permanent.<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7007\" title=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gloriahansen.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/image.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"367\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gloriahansen.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/image.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.gloriahansen.com\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/image-300x244.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After watching it, I found her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ohiseered.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>, to learn she is from Sabah, Malaysia, spent a third of her life in Australia, and now resides in Shanghai.\u00a0 She is stunningly beautiful and incredibly talented.\u00a0 You can see a portfolio of her work <a href=\"http:\/\/hongyi.carbonmade.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.\u00a0 What a cool thing to stumble upon, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I came across this YouTube video and was blown away by it.
