Thanks for the walk through the museum – it’s really beautiful. Well worth a trip from anywhere! Maybe they’ll mount an artquilt exhibit?
I’ve had back problems forever, but have been going to an osteopath for adjustments, and doing yoga 3 days a week. Knock on wood, it’s helping. Hope your’s is better soon!

The art is nice, but I really drooled over the lusciously rich colors of the walls and of the beautiful green tops worn by you and your mom.

What the heck is a 3D kinetic sculpture? You’re not going to make me Google it, are you? It sounds very cool. I wish you had a picture of it, too!

Enjoyed seeing that.

My love of Lichtenstein goes back to when I was at Art college. One of the tasks we were assigned was to create some art in the style of well-know artist but in a completely different medium to that which the artist was known for. I choose Lichtenstein, having been studying his work in our art history sessions.

I ended up making a 3D kinetic sculpture entitled “Guns and Tears” (I think) which was supposed to be a comment on the “Troubles” in Ireland which were very topic at that time. Wish I had a picture of it :)
