Petals of Hope

This quilt was designed using Canvas on my Macintosh for the
"Ply Thy Needle" invitational exhibit sponsored by
Fabic Country Classic Cottons. This quilt uses only FC fabrics
and ones that I hand painted. It is machine pieced and hand quilted.
I slowly made the quilt was made while I was recovering from
back surgery in April 1996. When putting on the binding, I learned
my disk re-reputured. I had a second surgery in August. Thus,
the quote I selected for the quilt became even more appropriate:
"The miserable have
no other medicine
But only hope"
