Perspectives I, Logs for a New Century © 2000-2005 Gloria Hansen 54"x54" For the new century, I wanted to return to a favorite pattern, the Log Cabin, and create something that reflects and projects. I used the program Canvas on my Macintosh computer to draw this design.The quilt uses several fabrics that I painted, dyed, and airbrushed and uses some commercial prints. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. The quilt back is also hand painted. Some awards this quilt won include: 1st Place, National Quilting Association, Columbus, OH - 2003 2nd Place, MN Quilters Show & Conference Rochester, MN - 2000 3rd Place - International Quilt Festival Houston, TX - 2000 3rd Place, Sew Near to My Heart Cincinnatio, OH – 2003  Prior Quilt Next Quilt
