37" x 37"

I used equilateral and right angle Grafix graph paper to create this design. In answer to the question: No, it doesn't matter if you use graph paper or a drawing program to design a quilt. Both are simply tools. If you are comfortable using graph or plain paper, try experimenting with a basic drawing program. It's fun!

This quilt uses commercial fabrics and some purchased hand-dyed fabrics. It's machine pieced, hand quilted, and has hand embroidery and beading. I made it for the 1991 Hoffman Challenge; it travelled with Exhibit B.
