Circles Squared II © 2003 Gloria Hansen 24" x 24" The second in a series of designs exploring positive/negative repeating and diminishing squares and overlapping shapes. I created this design using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop on my Macintosh computer. I printed the design onto cotton fabric using archival inks and further enhanced the color using D'uva pastels and textile paints. This quilt was selected to be exbited during "The Lowertown Arts District Quilt Walk" in Paducah, Kentucky April 18-May 1st, 2005. It was also exhibited in "Fiber Revolution" shows throughout 2004. It was also exhibited in the 2003 "Art Quilts VIII: A Cut Above" in the Chandler Art Center in Chandler, Arizona.  Prior Quilt   Next Quilt
