Gloria Hansen's quilt gallery

The above is an image I created using a series of photographs I took in England and collaged together using Adobe Photoshop. The image includes a photo looking down at the earth while flying into England and various photos taken in London, including the Peter Pan statue in Hyde Park, an underground station, a tube train speeding by and going into a tunnel, Harrod's department store, the Apple store flag on Regent street (which certainly isn't above Harrod's), various flowers, buildings and me walking through it all. The image was the basis of an 8.5 x 11 "journal" quilt made in 2005, a larger print on watercolor paper enhanced with pastels, and what I hope one day be the basis of a larger quilt. I also use the image of notecards.
