A Page from My Book: Journal Quilts 2002 Jan. Feb. March April May June July Aug. Sept. Members of the QuiltArt online forum were challenged to participate in a special exhibit at the 2002 International Quilt Festival in Houston— "journal" pages, one per month for nine month, each measuring 8.5 x 11 inches. Journal Quilts were also displayed at the Spring 2003 International Festival in Chicago, Illinois and the Spring International Quilt Market in Portland, Oregon. Return to Quilt Gallery.

Click smaller image at left to see enlarged above. My pages merge my love of quiltmaking, photography, and painting fabric. Several images were printed on fabric using an Epson 2200 printer and archival inks. Some are hand quilted, others machine quilted, and some include painted details. The May, June, and July quilts include hand embroidery, stamping, and beading.
