My passions include creating digital design on my Macintosh computers (big time Mac junkie); quiltmaking and working with a variety of media such as pigment inks, paints, dyes, fabric, papers, and threads; and photography, using my cameras (Nikon girl) and printers (Epson junkie).
I have authored or co-authored 15 books, have written tech columns for vaious publications since 1996, and work as a graphic artist and website consultant (after co-founding GloDerWorks, a website development company with offices in the US and UK. I also am involved with The Parkinson Alliance, the Parkinson's Unity Walk, Team Parkinson, and DBS4PD.org, working with them since early 2001.
