Welcome

My passions include digital design on my Macintosh computers; quiltmaking and working with a variety of media such as pigment inks, paints, dyes, fabric, papers, and threads; and using my cameras (I'm a Nikon junkie).
I am co-founder of GloDerWorks, a full service Web company with offices in the US and UK. If you are considering a website, I invite you to look at the sites we've created to see if we can help you. We create customized content management systems to accompany each site we develop. This means you can update the content on your site as often as you want without having to know any HTML. It's very cool!
In addition to working as a full-time graphic designer, I have authored or co-authored 13 books on quilting/computer and Internet-related topics, and my 14th book is coming out this fall! I also continue to write freelance, including the tech column for The Professional Quilter magazine which I've written since 1996, a column for the National Quilting Association's journal, and other publications. My focus is on the Internet, computer-related topics, digital design, inkjet printing, digital photography, and other topics of interest to visual artists.

I will soon be selling autographed copies of the book, as the book will begin shipping in September! I also plan on answering questions, posting helpful URLs and expanded tutorials, and hopefully sharing a PDF of a chapter to give you a flavor of the book. |
