My passions include art, technology, and photography. I work with a variety of traditional media such paints, dyes, fabric, papers, and threads, and digital medial such as printers (Epson junkie), Macintosh computers (big time Mac junkie); and cameras (Nikon girl) to create my work. I have been honored to win well over 200 awards for my art quilts, and have have my work exhibited around the world and featured in many magazines, books, and on TV.
I have authored or co-authored 15 books, have written tech columns and a variety of articles for vaious publications since 1996, and work as a graphic artist and website consultant. I am primarily involved with The Parkinson Alliance, the Parkinson's Unity Walk, Team Parkinson, and DBS4PD.org, working with them since early 2001. I am also an avid nature photographer, and I photograph birds, butterflies, and landscapes every chance I get.
