My passions include art and technology. I work with a variety of traditional media such paints, dyes, fabric, papers, and threads, and digital medial such as printers (Epson junkie), Macintosh computers (big time Mac junkie); and cameras (Nikon girl) to create my work.
I have authored or co-authored 15 books, have written tech columns and a variety of articles for vaious publications since 1996, and work as a graphic artist and website consultant. I am primarily involved with The Parkinson Alliance, the Parkinson's Unity Walk, Team Parkinson, and DBS4PD.org, working with them since early 2001. I also co-founded GloDerWorks, a full-service web design, programming, and hosting company with offices in the US and UK.
